Fully automatic recycling of PVC window profiles and old windows

Window recycling plant hamos WRS

hamos EKS electrostatic plastic separators separate rubber from PVC

In the next processing step, a hamos EKS electrostatic plastic/plastic separator separates the rubber or soft PVC seals from the rigid PVC fully automatically. Due to the physical principle of action, the hamos EKS simultaneously separates other plastics such as nylon or similar and, under certain circumstances, free glass fibers. With a rubber content of approx. 10 % in the input material, the hamos EKS achieves a PVC purity of over 99.5 %. The electrostatic separator works independently of the color, so that even dark gaskets are separated from dark PVC regrind.
The largely rubber-free PVC fraction can now be re-sorted opto-electronically to further improve the efficiency of the rubber cutting process and thus produce virtually rubber-free PVC granules. At the same time, color sorting separates colored PVC particles to achieve the highest possible degree of whiteness.

On the other hand, the combination of electrostatic separation and color sorting can also be used to produce highly concentrated, colored PVC fractions by selectively separating the white particles.

The hamos WRS window recycling plant combines the individual machines by means of conveyor systems to form a complete, fully automatic processing line. Waste and good fractions can either be filled directly into big bags or are transported into large storage silos.

The hamos WRS 1000 system can process 1,000 kg/h of window profiles, while the hamos WRS 2000 can process 2,000 kg/h in three-shift operation, 7 days a week.

Leading manufacturers and recyclers of PVC window profiles are already using the proven hamos technology to process their profiles.

We would be pleased to show you the raw material potential of your PVC profile sections.
